Refunds and cancellation

This is about your Stashed subscription — not about refunds to your customers.

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Written to common practice for a hosted commerce platform and accurate about how Stashed actually works, but it should be reviewed before it is relied on.

01

Which refunds this covers

This policy is about what you pay us. Refunds you give your own customers are covered by your shop’s policy and by the merchant terms.

02

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your shop stays live for the rest of the period you have already paid for, and then stops being served. Your data remains available to export during that time.

03

Refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally not refunded for a period that has already begun.

We will refund where the platform did not work as described and we could not fix it, where you were charged in error or after cancelling, or where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Annual subscriptions cancelled within the first 30 days are refunded pro rata for the unused months, less any months already used at the monthly rate.

Platform fees on completed sales are not refundable, except where the sale itself is refunded — in which case the platform fee on it is returned automatically.

04

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If there is a major failure you are entitled to cancel and to a refund for the unused portion, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and to cancel and get a refund if it is not.

Stashed is built by Akashi Labs on the same infrastructure as Exclusivo, which does the digital-collectibles side of things. You never need it to run a shop — but if you ever want to sell something that lives on a blockchain, it is already there and already connected.
